Updated blog coming soon!

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

A lunch pail turned into a baby book. Although these have been around for a long time, I hadn't made one before. It was a lot much fun. It was a birthday gift for my niece, a place for her mother to record/journal her daily activities. When she gets older, she will be presented with all of her keepsakes in one place, ie, first tooth, a locket of hair, even her baby records. What better place for her precious memories?
This blogging stuff has proven to be very interesting. It's like having a full time job. Trying to keep everything current, which I haven't done very well...WHY? you ask...because no has followed my blog so far! So what makes your blog stand out? I've tried to figure that one out...and it's only caused me to have blog overload!
My goal is to develop a great blog...don't laugh...it will get better. Stop by occasionally and check it out or you can always become by first follower :)

The perfect wedding gift...a premade mini album with a matching gift box. I used Graphic 45 papers. The inside of the box is lined with black felt.

Friendship Card

Your friendship is so special to me. Wouldn't this be a nice card for the beginning of a new friendship. What better way to tell a new friend you are thinking of them.

Concert in the Woods

I love this cute little card. I imagine all of the animals in the forest gathering around to watch this precious cherub conduct the his first concert. This card is available at my Etsy shop.

Trust in the Lord

Another one of my favorites, I love doing watercolors. The stamp is "O March" by Penny Black. I used yellow, orange and green Stampin Up markers directly on the stamp with one or two spray mist of water.
The verse stamp is by stampabilities and stamped in Memories Black Ink on white cardstock.

Beautiful Flowers

I made this card for my mom to give to her cousin for her birthday. I used Stampin Up markers to color, I haven't tried Copic markers yet.

Make Lemonade

Sometimes, if it isn't one thing it's something else and over the years I have learned that when"LIFE" give us lemons make lemonade.

Get Well Soon

I made this card for my cousin. I just found out that she recently had surgery and I wanted something that would make her smile. I love the House Mouse Rubber Stamps. They are so much fun to work with it may be difficult to see but I used the Judi Kins Diamond Glaze over the bottles to give them some dimension.
